2nd tip on Quit Smoking
Smoking is linked to the development of uveitis. Uveitis (inflammation of the eye's middle layer, or uvea) is a serious eye disease that can result in complete vision loss. It harms vital structures of the eye, including the iris and retina, and can lead to complications such as cataract, glaucoma and retinal detachment.
Maintaining good eye care?
Today's tip - Quit Smoking
Smoking increases the risk of cataracts, optic nerve damage, and macular degeneration. It also affects individuals who suffer from dry eye syndrome, which can be attributed to eye redness, itchiness, and watery eyes.Tobacco smoke is a known eye irritant and worsens dry eyes particularly for people who wear contact lenses.
Hi, today's daily tip - maintain good eye care.
1) Eat healthy
"Protecting your eyes starts with the food on your plate. Nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zinc, and vitamins C and E might help ward off age-related vision problems such as macular degeneration and cataracts, studies show. Regularly eating these foods can help lead to good eye health:
1) Green, leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, and collards
2) Salmon, tuna, and other oily fish
3) Eggs, nuts, beans, and other non-meat protein sources
4) Oranges and other citrus fruits or juices
Eating a well-balanced diet also helps you maintain a healthy weight, which makes you less likely to get obesity-related diseases such as type 2 diabetes. Diabetes is the leading cause of blindness in adults."

Joke of the day!
"A woman walks into an optician to return a pair of spectacles that she purchased for her husband a week before.
The assistant asks, “What seems to be the problem, Madam?”
The woman replies, “I’m returning these spectacles I bought for my husband. He’s still not seeing things my way.”
If he is still not seeing better drop him/her by for a test!
