As one of our seasoned Urban Planners, with triple professional registration as PITP, RTPI and CAP. Taboka currently serves as a Non-Executive Board Member of Botswana’s Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZA), mandated to transform selected strategic locations into investment-ready growth centres that attract local and foreign investors, support exports and drive Botswana’s economic diversification.

Her presence on the Pan-African Entrepreneurship track speaks to more than professional excellence. It reflects the growing call for African planners to think beyond borders and shape spaces that carry economic, institutional and regional significance.

Taboka represents JS Planning’s broader vision of becoming a regional player in Urban Planning, Development and Spatial Transformation across Africa.

Did you know? We served as Town Planners for Lebone Architects under the Ministry of Environment & Tourism, during the preparation of masterplan than now houses Kasane institutional offices, working along with architects and engineers as an integrated team is key to shaping sustainable developments.

We were honoured to provide Town planning services to RIC Development Botswana in delivering 408 housing units for BDF at Sarona City, Gaborone — a project worth over P500 million, completed ahead of schedule.

Town planning plays a central role in housing provision because housing is not only about building houses; it is about creating well-located, serviced, liveable and sustainable communities.
