Seed Co develops and markets certified crop seeds, mainly hybrid maize seed, but also cotton seed, wheat, soya bean, barley, sorghum and ground nut seed.

We DO NOT accept cash payments. Most of our hybrid and non-hybrid cereals and oil crop seed varieties are proprietary, having been developed and bred at our research stations through market-oriented research and breeding programmes. Our seed is produced from our own parent seed under contract by an established producer network. Research has been and will continue to be, the cornerstone of Seed Co'

It all starts with the right seed, and the right seed can only be a Seed Co seed. Mma Moloi’s facial expression is a testament to what can be achieved when everything is done right. The rains that fell on the Mosojane fields were enough to nurture this brilliance, the agronomist’s expertise helped bring the crop to fruition, and most importantly, the farmer’s hard work crafted a beautiful harvest story.

‘One Continent, Many Roots’ , the Seed Co Botswana team brought the theme to life on Friday in commemoration of Africa Day. What a blissful sight it was to see the team proudly express their African identity.

The day was wrapped up with a Tswana cuisine dining experience, truly a beautiful way to conclude the celebration.
