LOCALS CREATE DIGITAL VISITOR REGISTRATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO HELP FIGHT COVID-19

Local innovators, Asante Tech Group, Justice Willian and Thuto Gaotingwe have created a digital visitor registration management system through an App called Scanter.

According to creators, the App was created to help organisations to keep track of people who visit their premises, which is a new requirement by health authorities.

The App which is available on Google Play and iOS store is available for free to Public Transport operators and churches.

One of the creators, Gaotingwe is the former regional winner of Orange Social Venture Prize, the only Motswana to have won the prize.
