Bolaane is an Associate Professor and the Director of the San Research Centre at the University of Botswana_Official, which is dedicated to promoting multidisciplinary research on San issues and enhancing youth capacity building.

Her body of work includes numerous books, peer-reviewed journal articles, and technical reports, focused on how wildlife conservation policies affect the San communities.

The scholarship, designed for a two-year MSc in Development Policy and Politics, combines rigorous academic learning with practical experience through an integrated internship.

Scholarship Features:
▫️Academic Excellence: Embark on a one-year MSc program with modules focused on International Development, Development Policy and Politics, Governance and State-Building, and Democracy, Dictatorship and Development.
▫️Practical Experience: Engage in a one-year integrated internship, including six months of research with the International Development Department (IDD) and GSDRC, followed by six months at the Mo Ibrahim Foundation in London.
▫️Networking Opportunities: Join the Now Generation Network (NGN), connecting with emerging African leaders and professionals across various sectors.

Eligibility Criteria:
First-class Honours degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Applicants must be under 30 years old and be African nationals, with a preference for those residing in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Scholarship Benefits:

Full tuition fees, airfare to and from the UK, a monthly stipend, and an arrival allowance.
