Dealing with foundations part 2
Psalm 11:3, Isaiah 28:16, Matthew 7:24-25_
THE QUESTION OF OUR TIME
If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”Psalm 11:3
David was told: “Flee. The system is broken. The family is broken. The church is broken. Just run.”
But David didn’t run. Why? Because he knew who the Foundation is.
When foundations shake, you don’t panic. You inspect.
First things first
WHAT ARE FOUNDATIONS?
Foundations are what you build your life on. Invisible, but everything rests on them.
This can be
1. SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION — Your prayer life, Word, altar. _1 Cor 3:11 “Jesus Christ”_
2. FAMILY FOUNDATION — Marriage, parenting, generational patterns. _Psalm 11:3_
3. MINISTRY FOUNDATION — Motive, character, calling. _Matthew 7:24_
4. FINANCIAL/NATIONAL FOUNDATION — Systems, justice, righteousness. _Proverbs 14:34_
When 1 is cracked, all the others start shaking.
SIGNS YOUR FOUNDATION IS CRACKED
1. CYCLES REPEAT— Same deliverance, same problem. Generational stuff.
2. PRESSURE EXPOSES YOU — _Rain fell, floods came_ — Matthew 7:25. What’s inside comes out.
3. QUICK FIXES DON’T WORK — You can paint the house, but if the foundation is bad, it will still fall.
HOW DO WE DEAL WITH FOUNDATIONS?
IDENTIFY THE ROCK — ISAIAH 28:16
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone... a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation”
You can’t repair on sand. You must rebuild on Christ.
Not tradition. Not reputation. Not “we’ve always done it this way.” Christ.
DIG AND INSPECT — LUKE 6:48
“He dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.”
Dealing with foundations is painful. It’s counseling. It’s repentance. It’s deliverance. It’s breaking covenants.
Ask yourself
What altar was raised before I was born? _Jer 1:5_
What did I agree to?
TRUST GOD DURING THE SHAKING — HEBREWS 12:27
“He will shake... so that what cannot be shaken may remain.”
God allows shaking to remove what He didn’t build. Don’t despise the shaking.
THE RESULT OF A SURE FOUNDATION
1. STANDS IN THE STORM
“It did not fall”_ Matt 7:25
2. CARRIES GENERATIONS*
“Borne from birth... to gray hairs”Isaiah 46:4
3. GLORIFIES GOD
Because it won’t collapse when you’re gone,
Praise isn’t just music.
Praise is warfare, it’s access, it’s breakthrough.
When you praise, God moves.
1. PRAISE INVITES GOD’S PRESENCE — PSALM 22
_“Yet You are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.”_
When we praise, God sits down. Heaven comes down
2. PRAISE BREAKS CHAINS — ACTS 16:25-26
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God...
Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken.
And immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s bonds were loosed.
Prison doors don’t open with complaining. They open with praises.
Come and praise the Lord this Sunday..
My joy as a minister of the word is not in people clapping for my ministration,but it is when lives are transformed because of that Word.
Claps are loud for 10 seconds.
But transformation echoes for a lifetime.
When lives change, people don’t say “great sermon.” They say “great God.”

GIVE ME HEBRON SEALED 🔥
THE TRUTH ABOUT HEBRON
Joshua 14:12-13
Now therefore, give me this mountain... Perhaps the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.
And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron... to Caleb”
But Hebron wasn’t empty.
Joshua 15:14 “Caleb drove out the three sons of Anak from there.”_
The Giants were still in the inheritance.
Child of God, listen:
God’s promises upon your life don’t exempt you from battles.
They qualify you for battles with God on your side.
Caleb got the title deed at 85.
But he still had to fight the Anakites , the giants in Hebron.
That’s how it works:
Promise First. Then Process. Then Possession.
The enemy will tell you: “If God was with you, why is it hard?”
God is saying: “Because I’m with you, you can take it.”
3 THINGS TO REMEMBER IN YOUR HEBRON SEASON
1. You are not alone in the fight
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
The same Jehovah who gave you the mountain is walking it with you.
2. Giants prove you’re in the right place
If there are no giants, it’s probably not your inheritance.
Anakites only live on valuable land.
3. Take heart and keep moving, soldier
Caleb said _“I am as strong now as I was then.” Joshua 14:11
Age, time, delay didn’t weaken him.
DECLARATION
My Hebron is sealed.
The promise is mine.
The giants are real. But the Lord is with me.
I will not retreat. I will take the mountain.
