* * * * Lets be honest, some of our fellow car fixers are messing customers Gearboxes with wrong oil. Its something we have encountered and we still encountering it even yesterday.

** A 7 Speed DSG Gearbox have 2 Components that require 2 separate oils.

1. The Mechatronic (Mineral Oil)
2. The Gearbox (

** MECHATRONIC:
Only Mineral oil is required by this part. The oil is greenish in colour. No Red or Orange or black Mineral oil have we seen. The oil comes in 1 liter bottle. Mechatronic requires between 1 liter or 1.2liters on Mineral Oil

** GEARBOX:
The Gearbox for the 7 Speed is built similar to old manual gearboxes so it uses Manual Gear oil we call EP - 90. The oil is evrywhere even on filling stations because its an old oil for old cars. Hilux ya bogologolo ele its Gearbox e dirisa EP - 90 on its Gearbox. The Gearbox requires 2.7 liters to 3.2 liters of EP - 90. DONT BE DERAILED BY SHOP ATTENDANTS ba go raya bare DSG Gearbox e tshela DSG oil only, NO. DSG oil goes to GTI DSG koo ele nosi, NOT on 7 Speed DSG.
