At a young age, while making a volunteer contribution and visiting the temples alongside my mentor — who felt more like an elder brother — I was deeply guided by his wisdom and unwavering support through all walks of life.

Home Away From Home
On this new land, where every moment is a fresh journey,
and even the whisper of words feels unfamiliar,
a young woman walks through unfamiliar streets —
strolling gently into the unknown,
wearing the same pair of CROCS
she brought from her homeland —
a small comfort in a vast, strange world.
She carries more than memories;
she carries the weight of a loss too early —
a father gone,
a mother standing strong as her only guardian,
and four siblings whose quiet support
wraps around her like warmth on a cold day.
She lives in the present, holding on to hope.
Hope that one day, she will rise,
not just for herself,
but for the ones who never stopped believing in her.
The sacrifices, the love, the silent strength —
they fuel her every step.
Not just in search of a job,
but in search of purpose, of belonging,
of the life she’s determined to build.
Because education is more than a goal —
it’s a promise.
A promise to honor where she came from,
to uplift, to lead,
to shape a world that wouldn’t exist without her voice in it.
And maybe, just maybe,
those well-worn soles will carry her
into the life she always dreamed of —
and the legacy her father would have been proud to see.

Some workdays stretch into sleepless nights, but that’s often the price of ambition. Instead of dwelling on exhaustion, embrace the privilege of having something meaningful to work for. Every late night and challenging day is a step toward growth, a testament to your dedication.

"What others say to you doesn't define you; it's a reflection of themselves." -Unknown
If someone calls you a "rotten apple," it doesn't mean that's who you are - it's a reflection of their own negativity, perspective, or inner struggles. Some people project their feelings, fears, or insecurities onto others. What they say about you says more about them than it does about you.
Some have a habit of judging rather than helping. Instead of offering solutions or support, they focus on blame, making the situation harder. This often comes from their own mindset-whether it's defensiveness, insecurity or a lack of empathy. But asking questions is never wrong. The right one will offer guidance, not judgment.
Some environments discourage people from speaking their truth. Whether it's due to societal norms, workplace culture, or personal biases, raising your voice can sometimes lead to judgment or scrutiny. In such spaces, people may feel pressured to stay silent to avoid criticism. But staying true to yourself is important-your voice maters, even if not everyone welcomes it. The right people and places will respect your perspective rather than silence it.
Everyone worked hard to earn their own place. No one has the right to push you out as if they own the space. Your effort, dedication, and contributions matter just as much as anyone else's. No one has the right to diminish the value of what you have built through your hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Your journey, efforts, and achievements are yours alone, and no one can take that away from you. People may try to undermine or dismiss it, but their words or opinions don't define you. Keep standing firm in what you've created.

Three sisters supporting each other through every storm, symbolizing unity and mutual love. The eldest plays a significant role, shouldering the responsibility of uplifting the family’s needs and embodying the essence of connection. Despite enduring the darkest phases of her life to ensure everyone’s happiness, she remains a pillar of strength. She truly deserves the unwavering love and appreciation of her younger siblings.
The middle sister acts as the bridge between the eldest and the youngest, linking their relationships with grace. Bold and brave, she showers the family with love, strengthening their unity. She never fails to look up to her eldest sister as a source of inspiration while simultaneously tending to the needs of the youngest. Paving her own path, she develops a sense of independence that balances her role beautifully.
Lastly, the youngest, the craziest of the three, may not have much to shoulder, but her sensitivity to her eldest sister’s needs is unmatched. Though not the smartest in the traditional sense, she has a keen sense of understanding and always knows what she wants.

Happy 117th National Day to Bhutan!
It’s a day filled with patriotic pride, traditional dances, cultural events, and speeches highlighting Bhutan’s achievements and its commitment to Gross National Happiness. Wishing Bhutan continued peace, happiness, and prosperity!
Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to endure, and the pain can feel overwhelming, especially when the loss is so recent. It’s okay to grieve, to cry, and to feel the weight of this change in your life.
Take each day as it comes, and don’t be afraid to take the responsibility that comes your way. Some days will probably be hard to live on with so much to digest and few people to understand what you are actually going through. Faking the smile and hiding the grieve could only be solution to some extent.
Your dad’s love and presence will always be a part of you, and honoring his memory in ways that feel meaningful can be a small comfort in the midst of the sadness.
I miss you so much every day. Losing you has left a hole in my heart that nothing can fill, but I’m holding on to all the memories we shared. Your love, guidance, and wisdom shaped me into the person I am today, and I will carry those lessons with me always.
I wish I could hear your voice one more time or feel your comforting presence, but I know you’re watching over me. I’ll do my best to make you proud and honor your legacy in all that I do.
Thank you for being the best dad I could have ever asked for. I love you forever.
It's been such a comfort to connect with an old mentor who wish best in me to explore the true potential in us. Even though time has passed, it feels like nothing has really changed between us-there's still that same warmth, kindness, and understanding. It's a reminder of how much your guidance means to me, and I'm so grateful for having such mentor in life.
