DHI InnoTech provides the following update on a recent engagement with representatives from the Sei Development Foundation, Eleanor Davies, Science and Innovation Lead and David Stefanich, CEO of WAIVE Diagnostics, who were introduced to DHI through our InnoTech advisor, Dr. Alex Cahana.

From 9th till the 19th of November 2025, David and Eleanor visited Bhutan to explore avenues for deeper collaboration and to understand Bhutan’s emerging digital initiatives. As part of this partnership, a Sei validator will be run at DHI InnoTech. Eleanor and David, who is Advisor to the Sapien Fund, the venture vehicle dedicated to science and innovation on the Sei network, are supporting the DHI InnoTech team through the technical set-up process. This will contribute significantly to national capacity development in blockchain infrastructure.
Beyond infrastructure support, DHI InnoTech and the Sei Development Foundation are exploring several strategic areas of collaboration, including asset tokenization and other economic initiatives.

This collaboration marks an exciting step toward strengthening Bhutan’s role in global blockchain innovation while unlocking new pathways for data valuation, scientific advancement, and financial technology. DHI InnoTech looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to explore impactful opportunities with the Sei Development Foundation in line with Bhutan’s digital transformation goals.
