To decorate the interior of Partanna’s ‘Home for the World’, local interior designer Jeanene Fox placed an emphasis on family, home and comfort proving Partanna’s versatility for all building types. Despite its environmental credentials and climate resilience, these are houses designed to be lived in, cherished and treated like homes.

“The world is forecast to build an area equivalent to the size of The Bahamas every three years.

The need to disentangle development from pollution has never been more pressing.

“Our 'Home for the World' is the answer to this challenge, and The Bahamas, having experienced the devastation of Hurricane Dorian first-hand, is the symbolic birthplace for our movement to change the way the world builds – for good.”

Partanna’s ‘Home for the World’ holds a special significance to co-founder and CEO .

After watching the effects of Hurricane Dorian in 2019, Rick teamed up with fellow co-founder and architect
to create Partanna, a carbon-negative concrete technology which delinks development from pollution and helps turn the tide against climate change.

Partanna’s ‘Home for the World’ doesn’t just avoid carbon emissions, it actively absorbs CO₂ from the environment - just like a tree.

And our technology isn’t just good for the environment environment, the material used also gets stronger when it’s exposed to salt water because of its use of brine as a key activator - this makes it climate resilient, ideal in coastal areas.
