Happy Motivation Monday! Yesterday, I had the honor of attending the 2024-2025 20 Pearls Salute to Excellence End of Year Awards.

I beamed with pride as I sat in the audience and witnessed my students receive accolades for their many accomplishments!

Teachers have the monumental responsibility of safeguarding the future. We do so by challenging students to utilize the innate gifts and talents that students have. I am grateful to have been given the task of selecting these young women to be a part of this esteemed organization. Continue to excel my babies! Miss C is proud of you.

Teachers, even when it gets difficult, remember to leave a meaningful impact! The students who understand that you want the best for them, will always value you! 🩷💚

The Lit Page Turners Book Club has been working diligently to design a robust reading experience for students! Our monthly book talks 📕 foster a love of reading while focusing on core literacy skills that benefit students in the classroom and beyond!

March has been marching! I’m no stranger to speaking engagements, but I’m always anxious in my preparation . Whenever I am asked to share at an event, I endeavor my best to create a dynamic and enriching experience. This requires intentional planning, effective communication with the stakeholders about the anticipated outcomes ,and researching best practices to grasp the audiences’ attention and meet or exceed their expectations.

Since the year started, I’ve been asked to facilitate professional development sessions, host events, and provide insights about common themes that are experienced personally and professionally. Most recently, several people have asked me if I host events as a part of my professional portfolio. My answer was, “Not really”. As I continue to evolve and invest in Teaching with a Spin Education Consultancy, I am diversifying my portfolio and tapping into the gifts and talents I have been given.
