We are glad to announce our two other confirmed invited speakers:
António José Calado (Universidade de Aveiro) will tell us "Heterotrophy and mixotrophy in freshwater dinoflagellates: underlying mechanis, and phylogeny"
And
Mariângela Menezes (Universidade do Rio de Janeiro) about the "taxonomic update of planktonic mixotrophic phytoflagellates of inland water".

Robert Sanders will tell us "What drives a phototroph to food?"
Sanders Lab | Aquatic Ecology Bob Sanders is an ecologist who studies planktonic organisms in marine and fresh waters. His research emphasis is on protists (algae and protozoa) and their trophic interactions. He has interests in the ecology of protists from polar regions, and has been funded to investigate mixotrophy and/or kle...
Plenary lecture: Justin Seymour has confirmed his presence. He will take us to a deep travel in to the phycosphere and explore the ecological interface for phytoplankton-bacteria relationships
Justin Seymour | University of Technology Sydney I am an ARC Future Fellow and the leader of the Plant Functional Biology and Climate Change Cluster (C3) Ocean Microbes and Healthy Oceans research program at UTS.
