At JOLA School, learning goes beyond the classroom! 🌐 As part of our hands-on Finance program and STEAM-based educational approach, our 9th-grade students visited "IMPORTADORA LÓPEZ" to explore how technology, engineering, innovation, and financial planning come together in the world of business and entrepreneurship. 📈
During this real-world learning experience, our students observed machinery used for both small and large-scale enterprises—including equipment for producing ice cream, waffles, noodles, bags, bottles, and water containers, as well as industrial equipment and gas systems utilized across different industries. This hands-on visit allowed students to connect vital financial concepts such as investment, operational costs, productivity, and profitability with practical applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). 🧠
Additionally, they had the unique opportunity to learn about innovative food preservation technologies by tasting freeze-dried food products, discovering how science and dehydration processes shape the modern food industry while perfectly retaining flavor and nutrients. 🔬 Experiences like this encourage critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial vision, helping our students understand the crucial role innovation plays in building successful and sustainable businesses.

We would like to congratulate our student Keefe Ballesteros for his excellent performance at this weekend’s Departmental Show Jumping Competition at the Country Club Cochabamba! 🐎

Keefe stood out in the category "Infantil B", earning an impressive three first-place finishes 🥇🥇🥇 alongside his horses “Cicero Z” and “First Class.” His dedication, perseverance, and passion for the sport were reflected in every round.

At JOLA School, we had the pleasure of welcoming our parents into our classrooms for a very special Open Classroom experience, a space designed just for them.

Our teachers had the opportunity to share how learning truly happens behind the scenes; our methodology, classroom dynamics, and the intention behind every activity we design for our students. It was a meaningful moment to connect, reflect, and grow together as a community.

🐣 A magical Easter at JOLA School! 🐰

From our youngest learners in Pre-K to our High School students, everyone experienced a very special Easter egg hunt… STEAM style!

Our teachers transformed the day into an exciting adventure, creating scavenger hunts, riddles, games, and interactive challenges for every age group.

The journey to the final treasure was filled with creativity and fun:
Some students built egg towers
Others measured and explored
Younger students completed playful challenges like egg mazes and games..
All students followed clues, solved riddles, and worked as teams!

Each activity was designed not only for fun, but to encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

At JOLA School, we believe in creating meaningful experiences where students learn through play, exploration, and imagination—and of course, enjoy a sweet reward at the end… chocolate eggs! 🍫🥚
