We are moving house and I am selling all of my handmade wreaths at a reduced price. Normally they are priced $125-$145 but I am selling the large ones for $100 and the extra large for $120 as I don't have the space to store them. Please come and take a look (they are all similar to the ones photographed) - there are also some of my Bermuda signature wreaths - lots of different colour schemes and designs to choose from. Very unique - make great gifts too. Look great on the door or as a table centrepiece with a vase in the middle. Absolutely obligation to buy. Socially distanced viewing either inside or outside. My daughter has been begging me since last Christmas for me to make her a wreath for her bedroom door. I'm just about to surprise her with this one. They make lovely gifts for girls girls ..... Plus I can do boys ones too (did a superhero one last year!)

Why do I need electricity and water you might ask?!
Lights to see and water to wash brushes (and have a shower as painting is sweaty work).

A delightful bureau that I have transformed from a drab, dark, old fashioned piece into something contemporary and fun. A really useful item to have in your home - not only does it serve as a desk, but it can also have the combined use of a dresser (ideal for small spaces). I bought these unique little lamps at The Barn charity shop earlier in the summer and thought they would be ideal for a Creative Bug makeover. The lampshades were in bad shape (torn and had horrible dated shades!) but would not be easy to replace here in Bermuda as they were oval.
I initially started painting them to leave some of the brass exposed, but it didn't look great (I do a lot of experimenting sometimes until I hit the jackpot!) so I decided to try decoupaging the lampshades with napkins to see what happened. I was really pleased with the results and decided to paint the lamps white to compliment the new shades.
Buying new lampshades is expensive and it's often very difficult to find the right shape and size lampshades in Bermuda - plus they are generally all terribly boring being only white or cream. This is a really cheap and effective way to jazz up lamps. I will definitely be using this technique again.
My mother has been over from England for the past 3 weeks and she fell in love with the lamps and is currently giving her own bedroom a makeover. Rather than selling them, I have decided to give these lamps to her as a gift (you can't charge your own mother right?!) - and I have been told that they will set the tone for the new colours in her bedroom. They will be making their journey to the UK on the British Airways tonight!
