This bicycle may be very fast under the right rider but aesthetics should count for something. My personal opinion is that it is one butt-ugly beast and I can’t imagine it’s very comfortable to ride. Personal opinions are, however, very subjective 🙂

A couple of decades ago even the fastest sprinters were generally using nothing bigger than a 54T large chainring in all the races they rode and most were on a 53T. This included those riders who were “juicing to the eyeballs” 😳
If the riders of today are able to turn a 60T chainring effectively….even on descents….it poses all kinds of questions, doesn’t it?
Make no mistake. Where there’s smoke there is definitely fire!🔥

I still think this story has an ending quite different than the result today. The question is how long will we have to wait for that ending to be revealed? In the meantime kudos to another unbelievable performance.

As a legit e-bike dealer I think this is a good move.
I’m probably alone here but still believe the truth will come out eventually about the guy who ran away with the World Championship today

This is absolutely correct. It’s been a huge positive in my own life and I’ve observed the benefit in others who have taken it up.

Right from when I first started riding I’ve always noticed there was a subset of cyclists who took themselves far too seriously. It doesn’t matter though…I still wave just to embarrass you 🙂

I love Shimano cranksets for their quality and mechanical simplicity. However, on a personal level, I feel grateful that I switched to SRAM cranks for everything more recent than 10 speed 🙏🏼

This is one of the best articles I’ve ever seen in mainstream media about the mental health benefits of riding a bike. Forget the physical fitness aspect…just the simple act of riding out for a coffee or the occasional trip to work or for shopping can significantly uplift your sense of well-being. I could go on and list many other benefits but perhaps in a later post.
Some years back, a person very close to me underwent significant challenges mentally which her bicycle helped to keep from overwhelming her.
Why bicycling might keep mental health in high gear The science behind why riding a bike might boost mental well-being, plus some ideas to get pedaling.
