We offer 2 options for you:

📌 BLENDED LEARNING
Recommended for Recertification and first time Certification
This course teaches the life saving skills needed to assist in sudden emergencies until EMS arrives and takes over.

This course is completed in 2 parts:
Part 1 – ONLINE
This part is completed online before the date of the course you booked for the practical, once a date is booked participants receive a link for the online portion, this must be completed in order to certify.
When the online piece is completed participants receive a “Proceed to Skills Session” Certificate which allows participants to complete the course with the in person training.

Part 2 – IN PERSON
Participants attend a 3 hour practical skills portion held in our Berry Hill, Paget headquarters.

📌 TRADITIONAL IN PERSON INSTRUCTOR LED COURSE
Recommended For:
• First time certification
• Participants who are more comfortable in a full classroom setting
• Participants who do not have access to a computer
The course consists of 2 IN PERSON sessions – 4 hours each day held in our Berry Hill, Paget headquarters.

Whether you’re welcoming visitors with little ones, caring for grandchildren, travelling with children, or simply need equipment for a short period, we have affordable rental options available by the week or month — starting as low as $10 per week!

We carry a large inventory of children’s equipment including:

🚑 Bermuda Red Cross in the Community - Supporting Bermuda End-to-End 2026! 👟

On Saturday, May 2nd, Bermuda Red Cross First Aiders were proud to provide Mobile First Aid support for this year’s Bermuda End-to-End event, helping to keep participants safe as they walked, cycled, paddled, and supported great causes across the island. ❤️

Our trained responders were stationed in the west end and in the east end at the finish line. Our Mobile First Aid van was on the road through the entire course and ready to assist throughout the day, ensuring quick support was available whenever needed. Events like Bermuda End-to-End showcase the importance of community partnership, preparedness, and having qualified first aiders on site.

Disaster Manager, Diane Gordon, shared:
“Bermuda Red Cross is always pleased to support community events that bring people together for such meaningful causes. Our Mobile First Aid team plays an important role in helping organisers create safer events for everyone involved.”

Bermuda Red Cross offers Mobile First Aid coverage for sporting events, community activities and public gatherings across Bermuda.

🚗 Bermuda Red Cross in the Community!
Bermuda Red Cross First Aiders were on hand at the Butterfield and Vallis “Bermuda Walls” family event held on Sunday, April 12th from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm. Two first aiders, Ericka Brown and Deanna Raynor, were on site to assist anyone who needed help during the event.

Disaster Manager, Diane Gordon, of Bermuda Red Cross stated "our organisation are big supporters of Butterfield & Vallis! The relationship began many years ago with B&V Management ensuring that all of their staff were given proper training in the area of CPR/AED & First Aid, and more recently Mental Health training with some staff becoming Responders for the Bermuda Red Cross. They call on our Mobile First Aid service for their running events and, this year their Bermuda Walls event.”

Bermuda Red Cross offer a variety of community impact services which include our Thrift Shop, CPR/AED & First Aid Training, Medical and Children's Equipment Rentals and Disaster Management which includes the Mobile First Aid at Events and Disaster Planning Presentations.
