Welcome to The Security House
Security Associates is Bermuda’s Premier Executive Security Mgmt Firm and Bermuda Security Group Ltd.
Who We Are:
Security Associates Limited is a subsidiary of Safeguard Holdings Ltd. Both companies were founded on one core principle, "To provide professional security service to its clients and ensure that their assets are protected." Security Associates was formed in April 2010 with a focus on providing innovative physical security solutions to our ever changing and demanding environment. Our Vision - We are committed to providing innovative security solutions and promoting the highest level of integrity and reliability from our employees. Our Mission - To ensure the clients' complete satisfaction and confidence in our products and services
Our History - In 1980, retired Detective Sergeant Mr. Paul Fields formed Safeguard to provide quality security services to a broad base of businesses in Bermuda. Safeguard then merged with International Security & Investigations Limited (formed in 1998 by Carlton C. Crockwell Sr.)and the two companies became Safeguard International Services. In April of 2010 Safeguard International Services and Bermuda Security Group formed an alliance, creating Security Associates and taking Bermuda's security industry to full strength. It is teamwork at Security Associates that drives our success. Throughout our divisions, from our support staff right through to our officers on the job, we work as a unit to ensure our clients enjoy the best and most effective security services possible. We are passionate about training and certification, ensuring each of our Security Officers has completed a minimum of 40 hours of training. Many of our staff have completed further personal and professional development training. Our goal is to equip every team member with the skills and resources to offer our clients the best service in our industry. Security Associates is a holder of a valid security industry license and each of our physical security officers are holders of a valid license duly issued by the Commissioner of Police under The Private Investigators and Security Guard Act, 1974.
Day 1 of Lumina Fest opened with the Financial Literacy Summit on September 25, and our officers were proud to be part of it.
Our team safeguarded every sensitive touch point and access area throughout the day, creating a safe and secure environment where guests could focus on the conversations that matter. In a highly corporate setting, our officers carried themselves with the professionalism, focus and care that define Security Associates.
Events like this summit play an important role in Bermuda, giving our community the knowledge and confidence to build stronger financial futures.
We were honoured to help protect a space dedicated to that purpose.

Professional security starts at the front door🚪
Our officers maintain a commanding lobby presence which offers the first impression for every visitor, and the first line of defense for every floor above.
We are proud representatives present at the XL House.
Our newest Maritime Security Officers stepped into hands-on training with the Garrett security wand. This handheld detection tool trusted worldwide by event venues, schools, and security professionals to identify weapons, contraband, and concealed metallic objects in seconds.
But the wand is only as effective as the professional holding it. Proper sweep technique, body coverage, and reading the response is what separates a routine pass from a real layer of protection.
At our borders screening isn’t theatre. It’s precision, consistency & the standard our maritime teams carry into every shift.
Corporate security isn’t stationary. It moves.
Lobby to rooftop, interior to exterior. Our teams execute full-building patrols across every floor of every facility, ensuring no corridor, stairwell, or access point goes unmonitored.
SA officers ensure a seamless cycle of protection that covers the entire footprint.

Residential security begins at the perimeter. Our officers are the first and the last point of contact.
We manage access & traffic, document every plate, and apply discernment to tell the difference between an excepted guest from an unauthorized approach. All executed with professionalism and discretion.
Vigilance Tuckers Town residents feel around the clock.
Behind every great event is a team you never notice… & that’s exactly the point. 🤝
This past Saturday, we had the honor of securing CG Insurance’s Wellness Experience, a beautiful day of health, community, and connection. Local Bermudian vendors showed up to share what they do best, and we made sure the space stayed safe, smooth, and stress-free from start to finish.
📍 Proud to support local. Proud to support wellness.
