What do you get when you cross spring sunshine and a Member with some time on his hands? 🧽

With the type of environment we intentionally aim for at TCS, our Members feel comfortable enough to get involved, on many levels. This was a job he requested on a day-off, and he got compensated for💰a win-win.

TCS and its staff are on our annual staff holiday break. All the Members in our program have been given what they need for the break, so we can take one too.

Happy Holidays and we'll be back in January❄️

Attorney General Kim Wilkerson visited TCS, along with Dennis Lister III Junior Minister of Justice, and Permanent Secretary David Roberts.

With a tour and in-depth discussion on what the work at TCS looks like, there were talks on how we can better serve the men in our community. We really focused on serving those who are involved with the criminal justice system.

What does rehabilitation look like? Or even just 2nd chances?

This visit came right on time for Men's Mental Health month, as TCS works to support men in re-writing their script, and walking along with them down the road to creating a new life for themselves.

Thank you to the Ministry for their visit, their listening ears, and seeing the hope still within the men who move through our court systems. This visit was a special one, and a productive one, and we look forward to further partnerships.

We were privileged to receive a visit from the Governor, His Excellency Mr. Andrew Murdoch.

He got a tour of our facility as well as a presentation, and we were gracious for his acceptance of our invitation to visit with us. We were honored by his humility and understanding of what we do, as well as the real life stories of the men we serve.

Thank you to him and the team for his visit, encouragement and support.

Our Founder Dr. Tiffanne Thomas will be speaking this Friday in the Fireside Session with

Issues with housing the most influential risk factor when it comes to the men at TCS. Couch surfing, sleeping outside or even just on the verge homelessness due to family issues, means that they are more likely to:

👨🏾‍⚖️Get in trouble with the law
🥪Go hungry
💊Get involved with drugs or relapse
👷🏾‍♂️Have trouble with keeping a job

If we can address housing for all, we can continue to shift mindsets and change lives.
