HOMEMADE EMPANADA COMPLETE RECIPE

Dough Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
½ cup cold butter or margarine
1 large egg
½ cup cold water (add a little more if needed)

Filling Ingredients
500 g ground pork or beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium carrot, diced
1 medium potato, diced
¼ cup raisins (optional)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 egg, hard-boiled and sliced (optional, for filling)
