Today we would like to introduce you to one of our loyal customers: Lydia.

Lydia is the kind of person who enjoys working in a busy environment. We believe that our delicious soja latte plays an important role in her productivity 🫣 Indeed, we also offer an extensive range of vegetarian milks.

We also like to think that she is doing magic when she’s working from Cali. You know, a bit like J.K. Rowling writing the majority of the first Harry Potter volume at the Nicolson’s cafe.

We are really thankful to those who work on their computers at Cali because they always put the best interest of the place first. We never had to tell anyone to turn off their computer or to move to another table during busy hours. They just do it from themselves and we are really grateful for it.

We don’t like to put ourselves forward at Cali because we prefer to highlight our products first and because we are proud of the quality we serve you everyday.
However, Moss, our new shop manager/head barista/latte art killer, has decided otherwise and started his own little project of documenting our staff and our clients through their favorite drinks. And we love the idea!!
You have probably seen on instagram that your drinks reveal a lot about you. So, let’s play a game.

The first one to be in the spotlight is Louis, our new barista. He is the guy coming to work by bike everyday no matter how the weather is. He is the proud owner of the annoying bike at the entrance of Cali. Now I’m sure you see the guy 😄

Now, what can we say about his favorite drink, our single origin flat white?
A flat white is an espresso based drink that contains steamed milk. That much is probably obvious.
It’s also the perfect choice for those who want to strongly taste the espresso but with a creamy mouthfeel. A great combo with our monthly discovery espresso.

According to the Daily Mail, if you are a flat white drinker then it’s likely that you think you are a bit more sophisticated than others. Is that true Louis? 😀
