Really delighted to announce that my painting; Resonance, 70cm x 100cm, (detail shown here) has been short listed for The Royal Academy Summer exhibition 2026!
Now to wade through quite a bit of admin to get my painting legally over the border! But fingers crossed all the effort will be worth it! BTW If anyone knows why text in white on instagram appears semi transluscent please let me know!

Garden Tales in collaboration with Kanal Architecture. Visit my garden/studio and discover my new painting series; Breaking Ground, as well as a detailed tour focusing on the garden as part of this wonderful open gardens event! Booking information to follow.

Space Pole, Avenue Circulaire, Uccle: I will be presenting Observations | Waarnemingen in collaboration with the Royal Meteorological Institute as part of the exciting Open Days event. Come along, see the film and meet scientists of the 3 institutes and discover many wonderful things about the planet and universe at this iconic event!

A last glimmer from the studio on this the shortest day of the year.

Hot off the easel is a new addition to the Coincidences series completed between 2023 and November 2024. This very slow moving painting was inspired by a photograph of the sinking sun snapped in a split second from somewhere on the A34 in France.

I also have some great news before the year closes out:

My project; Observations / Observaties ( Histoires de Ciel / Hemelverhalen ) in collaboration with The Royal Meteorological Institute, Belgium
was one of 10 projects selected on behalf of Uccle commune to recieve a creative grant. The jury included Tania Nasielski (Artistic Director at the Centrale for Contemporary Art), Manon Magotteaux (Curator at Musée Van Buuren), Daniella Salamandra (Cultural Mediator at Centre Culturel d'Uccle), Isabelle Happart (Teacher at l'Ecole d'Art d'Uccle) et Patrick Gautron (Responsable for projects at La Roseraie).

There will be further news on this in the New Year. Until then I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025! 🎉❤️🌞🤩🎄⭐

Today is the last day to visit The Gift exhibition at Étincelle, Rue des Dames Blanches, 28, Namur! See The Gift III installation featuring dancer and choreographer Kipras Chlebinskas alongside other paintings including a new series in installation: Songs About Existence. Thank you so much to Kipras Chlebinskas for your incredible performance and for giving me the opportunity to work together and to Étincelle for this wonderful show!
