Hier zie je de vernieuwde leefruimte, met verstelbare lamellen langs de zuidwestgevel, die helpen om warmte en zonlicht doorheen de dag te reguleren.
Een eenvoudige, doordachte renovatie met een sterke focus op energieprestaties:

Belgium

In automne of 2025, together with architect Laurent Peirera, we had the opportunity to participate in a competition focused on the revitalization of a village center.

The first phase of the project proposed the rehabilitation and development of a collective housing center for elderly residents, creating a place centered on care, community, and quality.

A new bold and monolithic building was designed to host both non-profit organizations and engineering offices of the village. This new construction respect the urban codes and architectural language of the south of belgiums more rural regions.

Although our proposal was not selected as the winning project, the jury particularly appreciated our approach to reappropriating the abandoned former hotel and transforming it into a new and meaningful use for the village.
