🚴🇧🇪 On Friday, June 26, Maarkedal will be the beating heart of Belgian cycling as the Belgian National Time Trial Championships take place on its roads.

The country's strongest riders will race against the clock in a battle for the Belgian title and the iconic tricolour jersey. With the Elite Women, Elite Men and Elite 2 categories on the start list, spectators can look forward to an afternoon of speed, power and pure determination.

☀️ Heat Protocol Update

With high temperatures expected over the coming days, additional measures from our heat protocol may be activated to help ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Our federations are monitoring weather conditions on a daily basis and assessing the situation continuously. If necessary, additional measures or adjustments will be communicated promptly to riders, clubs, organisers, and participants.

The safety of our cycling community remains our top priority togheter with Cycling Vlaanderen and Wallonie - Bruxelles Cycling

🚴‍♂️ What a ride!

Last Friday, together with our partner Beobank Belgique Beobank België, we organized a social ride through the beautiful Flemish Ardennes, including a stop at the Beobank Pro Center in Ghent.

We were delighted to welcome no fewer than 80 cyclists for a fantastic day of riding, networking and enjoying some of the finest roads of the Flemish Ardennes has to offer.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and to the Beobank team for the great collaboration. It’s always a pleasure to bring events like this to life together.

🚵‍♂️ A promising future for Belgian MTB! 🇧🇪

Three races, three winners' podiums and one clear conclusion: the MTB Top Competition has shown just how much potential Belgian mountain biking has. 🔥

For overall winner Jarne Vandersteen, competing in UCI races close to home is a major advantage. For MTB Commission Coordinator Leen Massaer, the competition is an important step in helping Belgian riders gain experience, earn valuable UCI points and prepare for the international stage.

Tom Van Damme re-elected as President of Belgian Cycling

At the General Statutory Assembly, Tom Van Damme has been re-elected for a fifth consecutive term, extending his mandate until 2030.

First elected in 2010, he continues to lead Belgian Cycling with the ambition to keep Belgium at the top of international cycling, both on and off the bike.

Looking ahead, Belgium will host major international events, in 2030 with the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Namur and the UCI Road World Championships in Brussels.

Key priorities remain the further development of our national teams and strong collaboration across the cycling family.

On Sunday, the third race of the Belgian Cup for Juniors took place in and around Geraardsbergen on the legendary Vesten.

After a demanding course featuring two ascents of the famous Muur van Geraardsbergen, Sebastiaan Goossenaerts (BIQS-BRAINSQUARE OLYMPIA TIENEN) sprinted to victory ahead of Tuur Vandevelde and Jannes Dezittere (AVIA-RUDYCO CYCLING TEAM).
