Yesterday, Datashift was the 0.1% in Antwerp 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃

This year was the 40th edition of the Antwerp 10 Miles. In total 40.000 runners participated in this huge running event, 40 Datashifters were present at the starting line so we were the 0.1%... And yes, as a data company, we noticed. 👀

We joined Flanders' biggest running party with our own tent, our own corner of Antwerp together with the colleagues who came to cheer. 🎉

There is "watching the race", and then there is feeling the race. 🚴‍♂️

As proud sponsors of , we had the pleasure of taking our client, , into the heart of the action last Sunday. We took them along in the support vehicle for the 13th edition of In Flanders Fields (Gent-Wevelgem).

The rebranded 135.2km route from Middelkerke to Wevelgem lived up to its spectacular reputation:
🔋 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 the "Belgian powerhouse" Shari Bossuyt and the team fight through every kilometer.
✴️ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 the tactical side of cycling and see the team being navigated through the chaos.
🐺 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 how the team showed true "Wolfpack" fighting spirit until the very end.

Celebrating new beginnings at the Vaartkom in Leuven! 🏢

Last week, we officially opened the doors to our new office. A special milestone, celebrated with clients, friends and partners who accompanied us along the way.

More than just an office to work, it is a place to connect. This gathering was definitely the first of many events that we will host here.

A special thank you to Mohamed Ridouani, Mayor of stad Leuven, for the official welcome. The link between Leuven’s growth and innovation provided the perfect introduction for our new home in Leuven.

We were privileged to hear from Jurgen Fore, CEO of Soudal Quick-Step Pro Cycling Team and AG Insurance - Soudal Pro Cycling Team. Jurgen delivered an inspiring keynote on building a winning team, by focusing on team culture and data. The perfect reflection of our ongoing partnership with . 🚴‍♂️

100km, 4 runners, 1 shared mission. 🏃‍♂️💛

On a beautiful sunny Sunday, Datashift came together for our 6th year participating in the 100km Run for Kom op tegen Kanker.

This cause hits close to home. Many of our colleagues have seen the impact of cancer on their loved ones, making this mission personal for the entire Datashift team. To support cancer research, our team raised funds through a chocolate sale! 🍫

Shoutout to our "Fantastic Four" who tackled the kilometers as a team and crossed the finish line in style:

The organization was top-notch as always, and we’re already looking to raise the bar. Next year? We’re aiming for two teams on the starting line.

11 Years of Datashift: Eyes on the Horizon. 🎯

As per tradition, we gathered the team to celebrate our 11th anniversary in Leuven. Altough the past 11 years we quite the ride, we focused on looking ahead.

The evening started with the Road to 2030: aligning goals, sharing expectations, and defining exactly where we’re heading over the next few years. It’s one thing to talk about a roadmap; it’s another to see it come to life.

🎨 To make sure our vision stuck, Axelle was back with her (digital) markers! Just like in 2020, she captured our collective roadmap through live visualization, turning our strategy into a work of art.

⚡ Our growth is more than just headcount. It’s the influx of new perspectives and the energy that comes when a team is truly in sync.

🎧 We capped off the strategy with drinks, dinner, and a set from our own in-house DJ Bjarne.

The ambition for the next chapter is big. The energy to get there is even bigger.

Onward to 2030!

The Ghent Tech Ecosystem is growing, and so are we. 🚀 Less than three years after arriving in the city, we’ve now officially outgrown our first home. To make room for our next chapter, we’ve moved to the 6th floor of the iconic Schelde II Office Building.

More than just a new office; it’s a launchpad. More space for our team to collaborate, a better connection to meet up with colleagues & clients, all the while still enjoying the perks of being connected to Settlers, a buzzing coworking community.

We hosted a Datashift award show, and the winner was… everyone* ✨

Of course, that alone wouldn’t make for a great award show. So we also honored 10 colleagues in 10 categories, each chosen by their peers for truly going the Xtra Mile. Think inspiring acceptance speeches, a few unexpected moments, a musical intermezzo by one of our own talents and plenty of friendly banter.

But the real surprise?
*Just before the awards kicked off, we pulled an Oprah-esque twist: more than 170 personalized awards, hidden under the cinema seats at UGC Mechelen. One for every colleague. Because after such an incredible year of growth at Datashift, everyone deserved to be celebrated. 💙
