An exciting evening in Volendam, a town known for its famous singers including Jan Smit, Nick & Simon, and Anny Schilder.

The expectations were for an easy win for 1st Division FC Volendam against Sportclub Genemuiden from the 4th level of 🇳🇱 ⚽️. Backed by a loud and passionate group of fans, defended bravely and even had a couple of chances themselves to win.

The game went to extra time when scored two late goals to win. Heartbreak for SC Genemuiden but a great performance.

A beautiful town to visit and a rather unusual local Volendam dialect. The approach to the stadium on a cold and dark evening is a delight. Four stands and 4 beautiful old school floodlights.

Another Zeeland stadium completed on the Futbology app with a 1st visit to V.V. Nieuwland . currently bottom of the league went 1:0 down to 3rd placed Bij Voetbalclub Vvijzendijke but levelled late in the 2nd half and came close to winning the game in the last 10 minutes.

Intrigued to see Scotland and Leeds United flags in the club bar.

A weekend in Vienna 🇦🇹 so an opportunity to watch ⚽️ in a new country - Slovakia.

FK Inter Bratislava are back in their former stadium, the Stadion Pasienky. €7 for tickets. A totally dilapidated but utterly charming stadium with incredible floodlights.

FK Baník Lehota pod Vtáčnikom raced into a 2:0 1st half lead, but pulled back two and came close to winning the game.

KVK Westhoek 0:1 KSV Oudenaarde 🇧🇪

Amateur East Flemish 2nd Division.

A long 🚗 drive to Ieper (Ypres) in West Flanders. An opportunity to complete another Futbology league with a visit to the . KVK WESTHOEK were the better side for most of the game but KSV Oudenaarde got a late winner.

Post match there was an opportunity to pay respects at the nearby Tyne Cot Cemetery.
