Herlings, AKA The Bullet, came out swinging in race 2, claiming the holeshot and kept an aggressive pace, but made a mistake on lap 6 at turn 12 and finished 8th.

I recently purchased the Sony 28-135mm F4.0 PZ FE G OSS lens for my FX6 and had the opportunity to properly test it on a production. I’m happy to say that the image quality is excellent and it’s helped me reduce lens changes in the field.

Beervlei dam is one of the best storage basins in South Africa. Due to high mineral content of the water it is unsuited for irrigation purposes.
It was built as a flood control dam to protect the Gamtoos River Valley from flooding. In order to perform its flood control function the dam is operated at 0%.

Construction period: 1953 to 1957
Dam Wall: Concrete multiple barrel-arch
Spillway raised by 1.82 m in 1967
Crest height: 31 m above the lowest foundation level
Crest length: 360.2m spillway included

Under flood conditions the dam can accommodate 263 billion litres of water which will cover an area of 4500 ha.

The dam can reduce a flood of 3.2 million litres per second to 1.6 million litres per second.
