💙 NEW ALBUM I + I IS OUT NOW 💙
pop music from hasselt, belgium In October 2016, Stien Carlier’s mom Solange passed away.
Stien wrote a first song ‘Forget’ as a lullaby to comfort her mom in her final moments. Coping with this great loss, Stien noticed that writing songs worked therapeutically and almost five years later, a full album is born featuring 10 songs. Each song represents a different stage or aspect of Stien's grieving process. The name WESTHINDER originates from a lightship “West-Hinder II” that is anchor

♾️ JUNOLOVE is the solo project of Stien, built entirely from the sounds of a JUNO-106 synth :: music for soft bodies & open minds.
✨ this is the first song HEALING, dedicated to baby Maud, and written as an antidote to these trying times.

🌊 welcome to our new chapter as a fluid music collective. no campaigns, no strategy. just songs, when they’re ready.
after making two albums and promoting, hyperlinking and canva-ing along the way, we realised that the music mattered more than the machinery around it. so we’re going back to the essence.
we are now a fluid collective — stien and whoever else is in the room. some nights it’s a full band. some nights just one person and a song that needs to exist.
the focus is on creating, playing, experimenting and on finding the place where it all started: the joy of making music and the freedom within that process.
