Acrofoto

Same arch, different element. 💧
While editing our photos from Pesaro, we keep spotting poses that would look stunning in water. Consider this a sneak peek: our Aqua Shoots will be back in summer 2027.
Behind the scenes, we're busy building a permanent photo studio for projects just like this 🤩

Sunday morning puzzle, solved. 🧩
Three gymnasts, three shapes, and every piece falls exactly into place.
Good timing takes practice. Sometimes it takes a little luck too.

Love it or hate it: the giant screen 📺

For the audience it's gold: names, flags, scores, standings, all in one glance. For a photographer it's a love / hate relationship. Sometimes it's the perfect backdrop that tells the whole story in one frame. Sometimes it's just a wall of text and colour fighting with the athletes for attention.

At the Acro Worlds the screen got a different look three times: one layout for the Youth and Juniors, one for the Senior qualifications, and yet another for the Senior finals.

I have a clear favourite… but which one is yours? 1, 2 or 3? 👇

Growing the sport, one flight at a time. 🇮🇳
Respect to Team India for bringing Acrobatics to new places.

Less is more

Yes, I’ve said it before. But after more than 10 years and 2,200 posts, finding something new to say is just as hard as finding a new angle 😅

So let’s keep it simple, just like this edit. No colours, no distractions. Just black, white, and two athletes doing something extraordinary.

Beatriz and Martim from Portugal 🇵🇹, one arm, perfect balance, and a whole lot of trust.

Taken during podium training, my favourite moment of any competition. It gives me more freedom to move around and choose my angle. Which, as it turns out, is still easier than choosing my words 😉

Some things are worth repeating. 🖤🤍

Sometimes a sharp photo doesn't tell the whole story.
With a slow shutter, a split second turns into a trace of movement, and that's what acro feels like.

After Pesaro, our AcrobARTics fine art series will definitely get some new additions. Keep an eye out. 👀

Pure 🇧🇬 emotion in Pesaro!
Acro isn't only about strength and balance. It's about the story you tell, and this Bulgarian mixed pair told it right down to their fingertips. 🫶

We're not flying home... we're road-tripping... 🤪🚗
🇮🇹🇨🇭🇩🇪🇫🇷🇱🇺🇧🇪

The World Championships journey is over, and we're on our way home.

A long drive across Europe also means something else: lots of time to reflect.

What did we think of these World Championships? What did we learn? What went well? What could we do better? And where do we want Acrofoto to go from here?

No big announcements today... just a car full of conversations, ideas, and plenty of inspiration after two unforgettable weeks in Pesaro.

First... let's get home. ❤️
