🏁 Precision, Focus, and Adaptation at Mettet! 🌧️☀️

testdriver.be was back at Circuit de Mettet, delivering driver coaching in the BMW Team Van der Horst car. We were out to maximize track time, getting in 208 laps.

Our main technical objective was refining the art of trail braking. This is critical for controlling weight transfer and rotation deep into the corner entry. Our drivers made significant progress in translating their braking technique into smoother, faster cornering.

Mettet served up an ideal training scenario: The session began on a completely dry track and evolved into full wet conditions by the afternoon.

This forced a total shift in focus—adjusting brake points, feeling for traction, and discovering how to carry speed when the grip level drops. The drivers adapted beautifully to these tricky changes!

A big shout-out to BMW Team Van der Horst for preparing the car and Speed4Fun for another smooth perfectly organized event.

Back at Circuit Zolder today doing what we love most: Making fast drivers faster 🏎️💨

​Had the absolute pleasure and the honor to work with a class winner of the legendary 24 Hours of Zolder.
The main focus was on two critical areas:

​Vision & Eye Discipline:
Training the eyes to look far through the corners, anticipating the apex, and planning the exit way before getting there.

​Trail Braking:
Masterfully carrying the brake pressure right into the heart of the corner to maximize front-end grip and perfect the car's rotation.

​The dedication to perfection never stops! 🙌

One intense day of racing, three days of great company. 🏁🇩🇪

​We headed over to the legendary Bilster Berg rollercoaster for an unforgettable trip. While the focus was on a single day of sharing the passion for racing on the track, staying for two nights gave us three full days of great vibes, team building, and networking.

Thanks to the machinery supplied by BMW Team VanDerHorst we shared the experience with 10 drivers — including the reigning class winners of the 24 Hours of Zolder. 🏆
To top it off E90 expert coaches, Kobe Claes and Johan Lambregs, were there to help elevate the game. 📈

​A fantastic weekend of racing at the Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup during the "Voorjaarsraces" in Zandvoort.

We pushed the limits and delivered some incredible results for the Tracktime team!
