The Kunstenpunt - Flanders Arts Institute "Arts Database" contains an extensive overview of creators, organizations, stage productions, exhibitions and music releases, showcasing therefore a vast amount of artwork, locations, artists, performers and related events. This online database streamlines multiple data sources, spanning over 10 years of meticulously collected data. The collected data itself goes back over 500 years.
We thoroughly enjoy making this dataset available to everyone, to view, research and maintain. We investigate new features and update regularly, so check often.
The "Arts database" is a continuation of our ongoing efforts for Kunstenpunt, the expertise centre for visual arts, performance arts & music in Belgium.

On October 28, 1972, de Warande opened its doors as one of the first cultural centres in de Kempen, Flanders. 50 years, 20.000 performances, 2.000 exhibitions and countless events later, de Warande has become an integral part of Belgium’s cultural landscape.
Needless to say, we were excited to create this identity. The new logo reflects both past and present. It enhances de Warande’s rich history but is at the same time able to evolve into the future while underlining the unique character of this vibrant and inviting place.

Picture perfect shots. Every. Time. We helped Backflash communicate the broad spectrum they work in. From the identity arose a graphical system that we applied to both on- and offline materials. We deployed a strategy focussing on the craftsmanship and amount of detail present in all Backflash's work. From analogue portra400 portraits to bulk CGI product shots, they do it all.

Ready, set, hike! We are Outsiders takes people into the wild. We were asked to help them communicate their love for nature, all the details that go into their trips and to get more people into walking mode.
To get there, we created a fun, dynamic system that allows creative play with pictures, typography and colours. It's the perfect fit for WAO's relaxed attitude towards the great outdoors.

Winter is coming. The virtual slopes have a new measuring standard called Shredders! Earlier this year, we were able to work on the visual identity for Shredders. A next-gen snowboarding game created by Belgian game studio Foampunch. The overall identity is a mix-and-match of typographic styles, hand-drawn letters, pixel cut-out shapes, bright colours and a pinch of humour.
