Today, exactly 15 years ago, our very first documentary was released at European Film Festival Brussels 2005, called
THREE WOMEN/DRIE VROUWEN
Kristof Bilsen and Daniel Billiet created a small and tender portrait of three special women who had to continue their lives behind bars.
During , we remastered the film and it's now online available through vimeo-on-demand.

It’s with deep sadness that we have to share the loss of dear friend and coproducer Marion Hänsel (page officielle) who passed away today. Marion coproduced both Elephant's Dream and MOTHER - the documentary.

Our Story
Limerick Films is a Belgian production company. Its main goal is to produce independent non-fiction projects and series as well as offering a platform for emerging artists to realise and expose their works. Since its conception, Limerick Films has (co) produced several short form, feature and performance- based documentary projects with international exposure, including performances and screenings throughout Europe and further in the US, UK, Asia and Africa. Limerick Films is a member of the European Documentary Network, EURODOC and part of the Jihlava's Emerging Producers' Network 2017.
Limericks first co-production was 'ELEPHANT'S DREAM', chronicled the struggles and dreams of a postal clerk, a railway guard and a fire fighter in the crumbling Congo capital of Kinshasa. The film premiered in competition at DOK Leipzig and then screened at 50+ festivals worldwide winning various awards (a.o. 2nd Best Int Doc at TRT Awards, Magic Hour Award DOCSAG Warsaw, Best Doc at Michael Moore's Traverse City FF (US) and Special Mention at One World Bertha Best Feature Doc (UK) and picked up by NetFlix.
Our new international coproduction ‘MOTHER’ is about to premiere in Sheffield Doc/Fest 2019 in International Award competition.
