From the first content collection to the final printed copies, Het Vlaamse Woonanker turned their activity report and financial statements into a clear, tangible publication. 🗞️✨
For this project, Genscom brought everything together: collecting and structuring the content, creating the layout, and taking care of the print.
What makes these printed copies still relevant? They give important information a format people can read, share and keep. During meetings, with stakeholders, and within the organisation.
From concept to creation and print, we help organisations turn their yearly story into a publication that feels complete.
Need an annual report, magazine or publication that deserves more than just a PDF?
Let’s make it tangible.
Last Friday, we went on a team-building day, guided by our very own West-Flemish colleagues.
From Passendale to Heuvelland and the Last Post, it became a day full of history, views and great company.
We started with breakfast and coffee pastries before visiting the Passchendaele Museum. After that, we explored the region by scooter for four hours, with plenty of beautiful views along the way. 🛵
Of course, there was also time for good food, a glass of Picon and fresh ice cream with a view of the dairy cows. 🐄
We ended the day in Ypres with the Last Post, a quiet and impressive moment to close a wonderful team day.
Great memories with a great bunch.

Great student work deserves a format that makes it feel real. 🗞️
This year, students from Hogeschool PXL turned their end-of-year projects into their very own printed newspapers.
The breakdown:
🎓 165 students
📚 6 different study programmes
📰 8 pages per newspaper
🖨️ 825 printed copies (5 newspapers per student)
✨ 1 creative way to present their hard work
From concept and research to visuals, process, and the final result, each newspaper gave these amazing projects the room they needed to breathe.
At Genscom, we love seeing how print can turn student work into something tangible, memorable, and professional.
Because some projects deserve more than a standard presentation. They deserve the front page.

Lucia’s Tip of the Week is back! 💡
In newspaper and magazine design, typography is more than just text. A strong headline can set the mood, guide the reader’s eye and make your layout feel instantly more editorial.
Try playing with scale, contrast and placement. Make your title bigger, stack it, crop it or let it interact with the image.
Just make sure the hierarchy stays clear. Your reader should still know what to look at first.
A strong title doesn’t just introduce the story.
It can carry the whole page.

May is coming to an end, and it gave us plenty to look back on at Genscom.
A month with new conversations, fresh ideas and a lot of energy around what we are building.

2️⃣ Celebrating the birthday of Peter
3️⃣ Enjoying the good weather in our garden
4️⃣ Koenraad attended Zorg-Saam’s 25th anniversary symposium.
It was a good mix of progress, inspiration and small everyday highlights.
And now we are more than ready for June: hopefully with better weather, new projects and a fun teambuilding to look forward to. ☀️

A personalized newspaper created for PLASTIQ, where the reader is addressed by name and their company is mentioned directly on the cover. 🗞️✨
It’s a small detail with a big effect. From the very first glance, the newspaper feels relevant, personal and made especially for the person receiving it.
That personal touch is what makes print stand out. It turns a newspaper into more than a publication. It becomes a message that catches attention and invites people to read on.
At Genscom, we help organizations create personalized newspapers that feel tailor-made for their audience.

last week, our colleagues Yasmine and Lucia swapped their desks for a day of inspiration in Antwerp.
At Lab9 Pro's Creative Inspiration & Solution Day, they followed several sessions and came back with fresh ideas, practical insights, and plenty of inspiration for future projects. The event focused on new creative tools, demos, and topics including AI and Adobe workflows.
A valuable reminder of how important it is to stay up to date with the latest tools, features, AI in design, and cybersecurity in creative work.
See you next year!

Our colleague Lucia created a personal magazine for a good friend who had just completed Marathon Des Sables, and it turned into the perfect surprise gift.
Filled with photos, memories, kind words and moments from her journey to the finish line, the magazine became more than a present. It became a personal story she could hold onto.
That is exactly what we love at Genscom: turning special moments into something tangible, thoughtful and unforgettable.
Looking for an original gift idea for someone who achieved something big? A personalized magazine is a beautiful way to celebrate their story.
