Use Knife łączą arabskie wokale i perkusję z analogowymi syntezatorami, industrialem i EBM, tworząc intensywne brzmienie balansujące między hipnotycznym rytmem a surową energią. Ich muzyka powstaje na styku różnych kultur, tradycji i współczesnych elektronicznych estetyk.

Na żywo budują gęste, dynamiczne sety, w których dźwięk współgra z wyrazistą warstwą wizualną, tworząc wciągające doświadczenie koncertowe.

Use Knife. This Belgian-Iraqi project will close the opening night of Estrada w Centrum.

Use Knife combine Arabic vocals and percussion with analogue synthesizers, industrial sounds and EBM, creating an intense sonic landscape that balances hypnotic rhythms with raw energy. Their music emerges at the intersection of different cultures, traditions and contemporary electronic aesthetics.

Live, they build dense and dynamic sets in which sound and striking visuals work together to create an immersive concert experience.

Tonight, you can listen to the 39th episode of ‘Feeding the Gentry’ on . We invited to do a guestmix. Like 2/3 of Use Knife he lives in Ghent, Belgium and we were really impressed by his The Dome Sessions film. He sent us an uninterrupted broadcast of Sound as Shelter Volumes 2 and 3. Conceived by Firas El Hallak as part of his larger Dome Sessions installation, this project explores the concept of audio as a sanctuary; a temporary space carved out by live, collaborative performance. This special two-part broadcast features back-to-back live recordings from the installation: Part I: Sound as Shelter Vol. 2 — featuring Charbel Haber Part II: Sound as Shelter Vol. 3 — featuring Anthony Sahyoun Recorded entirely live, these sets preserve the raw, unedited atmosphere of the original installation space.

Youniss about the video: “I wanted to come back to the painting textures of the first record in a different way. Whereas paint in the first album was more focused on texture in Demain Sera Mieux I focused more on shape. The palestinian flag colours juxtaposed against the ever changing shapes of the paint are metaphors for resilience and overcoming. The hope that tomorrow will be better.”
