55 years ago, a nation refused to be silenced.

On this Day, we celebrate the declaration and honor the sacrifice behind every word of it. The mothers who waited. The fighters who never came home. The dreamers who believed in a Bangladesh that didn't yet exist.

It exists now. And it's ours to protect.
Happy Independence Day. 🇧🇩

We are proud to announce that Team Additiya and Team Vision AI will represent us at the AI in Healthcare Hackathon 2026, taking place from March 26–28 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The AI in Healthcare Hackathon is a highly competitive international platform where selected teams can showcase impactful AI driven solutions to real world healthcare challenges while gaining global exposure.

Team Vision AI is building AI powered smart glasses for visually impaired individuals. The glasses detect obstacles using cameras and sensors and provide real time audio instructions to help users move safely and independently.

Team members: Mehedi, Siratul, Hamza, Rehan

We’re especially proud that Mehedi Hasan – Operation Secretary, RoboSUST is leading the team, with Mollah Hamza – Assistant Research and Development Secretary, RoboSUST contributing.

The project was supervised by Dr. Md. Raseduzzaman, Associate Professor, EEE.

Team Additiya is developing a home based AI powered breast health monitoring system. Their device uses smart sensors to detect tissue stiffness and an AI model analyzes the data to identify potential abnormalities. A mobile app helps users track their health and receive guidance.

Team members: Swapnil, Reza, Jarin, Abid, Soumik, Urmi, Safu, Abid.

Our RoboSUST EC members in this team:

Nusrat Jahan Urmi – General Secretary, RoboSUST 9th EC
Md. Yak Safu – Research and Development Secretary, RoboSUST 9th EC
Mohammad Abidur Rahman Abid- Asst. Treasurer, RoboSUST 9th EC.
The project is being supervised by Mohona Das Gupta, Lecturer, EEE.

Both teams are creating solutions that truly improve lives. Seeing our RoboSUST members take part in such meaningful projects and represent us on an international stage makes us incredibly proud.

Wishing Team Additiya and Team Vision AI all the best in Uzbekistan. Go represent us with confidence and make us proud!

Why RoboSUST?

This is the question we get most often.

RoboSUST was founded with a simple and clear vision: to make robotics accessible to every curious mind.

Robotics is not limited to engineering students.
It is not limited to STEM.
And it is certainly not limited to a fixed curriculum.

At RoboSUST we work to diminish the idea that robotics belongs only to a specific group.

Here programmers, designers, researchers, planners, writers, organizers, creative thinkers from engineering, non-engineering and non-STEM backgrounds work together, each owning the field and contributing their expertise.
This diversity is our strength.

Robotics is a field where theory alone is never enough. Watching a tutorial on how to build a robot is very different from actually assembling the components, troubleshooting errors, rewriting code and finally seeing your robot move for the first time.

It must be experienced.
And RoboSUST creates that experience.

So If you are ready to move beyond learning and start building
RoboSUST is waiting for you!
