It gives you a story backed by real work and makes your profile much more convincing. Professors and selection committees get something concrete to judge you by, not just grades and coursework but evidence of how you actually work as an engineer and researcher.

𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐖𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩 𝐀𝐧 𝟖-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲

A couple of weeks ago, we set out to turn the intention to learn 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 into something more concrete. Today we look back on a journey filled with learning, questions and practical exploration.

Across the workshop, our participants moved from the foundations of 𝐀𝐈, 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 into the mathematics behind models, data preprocessing, regression, classification, decision trees, ensemble learning, SVM, clustering and model evaluation.

Through practical tasks, discussions and a capstone project walkthrough, they gradually developed a clearer understanding of how these concepts connect and how they can be applied to real problems.

By the final session, it was rewarding to see how much more comfortable everyone had become with the subject and how the scattered pieces of 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 had started to form a clearer picture.

This achievement is built on his hard work, curiosity and a genuine passion for intelligent systems. His new role is a reflection of the dedication he has always shown towards growing and exploring new possibilities.

Throughout his time leading the 9th EC, he encouraged our entire community to learn, contribute and grow together.He showed that strong leadership comes down to empathy, patient effort and taking care of the people around you.
