ধামাইল বা ধামালি গান ও নাচ সিলেট অঞ্চলে প্রচলিত একজাতীয় কাহিনী সম্বলিত নৃত্য যা এই অঞ্চলের লোকসাহিত্যের একটি অংশ। যে কোন মাঙ্গলিক অনুষ্ঠানেই এই গীত-নৃত্য পরিবেশনার প্রচলন দেখা যায়। "ধামা" শব্দটি থেকে “ধামালি” বা "ধামাইল" শব্দটির উৎপত্তি; এর অর্থ আবেশ / ভাব। আবার, আঞ্চলিক / কথ্য হিসেবে এর অর্থ উঠোন। ধারনা করা হয়, রাধারমণ দত্ত ভাবুক প্রকৃতির হওয়ায় এই জাতীয় নামের উৎপত্তি হয়েছে। আবার অনেকের মতে, বাড়ীর উঠোনে এই গান - নাচের আয়োজন করা হয় বলে একে "ধামাইল গান / নাচ" বলে। এই গান / নাচ বাংলাদেশের বৃহত্তর সিলেট (সিলেট, সুনামগঞ্জ, হবিগঞ্জ, মৌলভীবাজার জেলা) অঞ্চলের লোকসংগীত বা লোকনৃত্য হিসেবেই পরিচিত। বৃহত্তর সিলেট ছাড়াও এর পাশ্ববর্তী ব্রাহ্মণবাড়ীয়া, নেত্রকোনা, কিশোরগঞ্জ, ময়মনসিংহ জেলার কিছু অংশে এবং ভারতের আসামের, করিমগঞ্জ, কাছাড়, হাইলাকান্দি, শিলচর এবং ত্রিপুরা এলাকায় ধামাইল গানের প্রচলন রয়েছে।
