I can't recall, but I read somewhere that the only constant thing of our life is - changing or adapting. We can't hold something forever. Due to unavoidable circumstances, sometimes we must let go of something even if it is too precious. I had never imagined I would write this sort of news this soon. We are closing down GRACE 🙂. Bidding farewell to a dream is more grievous than saying goodbye to someone. At first, the other founder of GRACE, Ahmed Asif has left the country to pursue his Master’s degree in England. Then I had to do everything on my own. It was hard in the beginning, but then I got used to it.
As I said earlier, situations tend to change. So now, If everything goes well, I'll leave for the USA by the end of this month. It won't be possible to operate a business from out of the country. Initially we thought to hand over GRACE to someone who is responsible enough, but then we realized the business could be hand over, not the dream. Nobody will love GRACE like us.
Why is this small business so important to us? Well, I'll run out of words if I start to describe. As we all know, since 2020 March, the covid has ravaged our life all the way possible. The situation was challenging, especially for fresh graduates like us. GRACE was our salvation at that time. We realized how much potentialities we have, how far we can go. We would never know there are so many well-wishers for us. (while writing this post, messages of customers are popping on the screen, It's ripping my heart out 😔) We can't thank our customers enough. Sometimes, we made errors, but they didn't lose faith in us. Good feedback, bad feedback, lovely comments, promises, countless nights of hard work, the journey was not easy but peaceful. It has not only increased our self-esteem but also changed the idea about ourselves. We are forever grateful to our customers. In sha Allah, someday GRACE will be back; once again, we will make your attire sing.
