IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0 — Distinguished Lecture, Industry-Academia Dialogue & Summit 2026 brought together inspiring minds, meaningful conversations, practical learning, and wonderful people under one roof.

From the Lectures and Industry-Academia Dialogue to the hands-on workshop, Antenna Design Competition, and AP-S Student Summit, every segment added something special to the experience.

As part of IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0, we had the pleasure of hosting an AP-S Student Summit, bringing together four IEEE AP-S & MTT-S Student Branch Chapters across Bangladesh.

We were delighted to welcome:

The Summit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to come together, share their experiences, discuss their activities and challenges, and exchange ideas for building stronger and more active student communities.

It was truly inspiring to see different chapters come together with the same passion for antennas, propagation, and wireless communication.

A Distinguished Voice in Antenna Innovation | IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0 📡✨

As a Distinguished Lecture of IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0, we were deeply honored to welcome Dr. Karu Esselle, Fellow, IEEE, and Distinguished Professor at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

With his remarkable expertise and pioneering contributions to antenna engineering, Dr. Esselle brought a fresh perspective to one of the most exciting areas of modern antenna technology through his lecture:

“Near-Field Meta-Steering – A Low-Profile Method to Steer the Beam of Any Antenna”

The session offered an insightful look into emerging approaches to beam steering and highlighted how innovative antenna technologies can shape the future of wireless communication.

From Theory to Practice: Hands-on Antenna Design Workshop 📡

Successfully concluded the hands-on antenna design workshop at IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0!

The sessions offered participants a valuable opportunity to explore antenna design through practical learning, simulation and research-oriented discussions.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitators, Engineer Md. Rezaul Haque, Dr. Md. Zulfikar Mahmud and Debprosad Das for sharing their expertise, experience, and valuable insights throughout the workshop.

We also appreciate all the participants for their active participation, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn. Your engagement made the workshop a truly rewarding experience! ✨

🏆 Antenna Design Competition — Result Announcement

And now, we have reached one of the most anticipated moments of IEEE AP-S Pulse 1.0 — the results of the "Antenna Design Competition"!

We received participation from many talented teams, and after the initial evaluation, five teams were selected for the final round.
Each of the finalists presented their designs and demonstrated their technical skills and creativity.

After careful evaluation, we are delighted to announce our Top 3 teams:

🥈 First Runner-up — SoloWave

🏆 Champion — PathLoss

Congratulations to all three winning teams! Your creativity, technical excellence, and dedication truly deserve this recognition.

And a big round of applause for all five finalist teams and everyone who participated in the competition. Your enthusiasm and effort made this competition a success. 👏

Today, we had a productive meeting focused on task distribution and final planning for IEEE AP-S PULSE 1.0.

Our preparations are well underway, and the excitement is building as we get closer to the event. We’re working together to make this gathering a meaningful and memorable one.
