২০০৩ সালে মফস্বল শহর পাবনায় স্কুল কলেজ পড়ুয়া কিছু কিশোর তরুণের সুর আর কথার খেলায় সৃষ্টির নেশায়, স্বপ্নের পথ ধরে যাত্রা শুরু করে ব্যান্ড দল বিহঙ্গ। দিনে দিনে বাড়তে থাকে গান। সময়ের স্রোতে লাইন আপে পরিবর্তন হলেও, বিহঙ্গ ছুটেছে তার নিজ কক্ষপথ ধরে, নিজস্ব স্বকীয় ধারায়। মন দুয়ার গানটি বিহঙ্গের পথ চলার শুরুর দিকের সৃষ্টি। মৌলিক কথা ও সুরে মেলোরক ঘরনার গানটির কথা লিখেছেন আলী ফারহান দিগন্ত।
