Atpara

Atpara Upazila Atpara is an upzilla of the district Netrakona under Dhaka division. It is located at 24.8083*N 90.886*E. It"s total area is 195.13 square km.

It has 7 unions, 142 mauzas and 175 villages. The unions are:
1. Shormoshia.
2. Baniajan.
3. Lonashawar.
4. Shunui.
5. Talagati.
6. Douoj.
7. Shukhari. In the main town of Atpara there are 2 high schools which are the Girls School and Baniajan CT Pilot High School.
1 Primary school: Baniajan Adarsha Sharkari Prathomik Biddaloy. 3 kindergartens. 1 college: Atpara College. It is one of the most beautiful upzillas of Netrakona for its beautiful scenary and landscape.
