There have been times when my support for the Awami League could have been seen as opportunistic. That perception is precisely why I chose not to engage in politics in that capacity before. However, after much consideration and reflection, I have now decided to stand with the Awami League for the future, Inshallah.

I understand that there are concerns about corruption among some members of the party, but I urge you not to judge the entire organization by the actions of a few. We place our trust in the new generation of leaders. I remain hopeful that the Awami League will acknowledge its past mistakes and take meaningful steps to learn from them. I also believe in the power of forgiveness and reconciliation, and I am confident that the party will extend a general pardon to those who were involved in the challenges that led to the downfall of the government on the 5th.

Should the people choose, the Awami League will return—revitalized and transformed—with new leadership and a renewed commitment to serve the nation.
