Successfully concluded the Codex Community Meetup Γ Microsoft Build //localhost at IUT, bringing together students for an engaging hands-on experience in AI-powered software development.
Throughout the session, participants explored OpenAI Codex, Microsoft Azure AI, and modern AI-assisted development workflows. They gained practical insights into how AI can be integrated into the software development process to improve productivity and accelerate innovation.
A key highlight of the event was the hands-on project-building segment. All participants received OpenAI Codex access and usage credits, enabling them to immediately apply their learning by building projects during the session.
We were also honored by the presence of our Head of Department, Dr. Hasanul Kabir Sir, who visited the session and presented souvenirs to the speaker in recognition of their valuable contributions.
The submitted projects were evaluated by our respected faculty members: Syed Rifat Raiyan Sir and Tariquzzaman Faisal Sir
Based on their evaluation, the top 6 participants were awarded one month of ChatGPT Plus access in recognition of their outstanding projects.
The session provided students with valuable hands-on experience in using AI tools for real-world problem-solving and software development. It was encouraging to see participants quickly transform ideas into working projects within a limited timeframe.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to MD Shahriyar Al Mustakim Mitul for conducting the session and sharing his expertise, and to all participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and active engagement throughout the event.
We look forward to organizing more initiatives that empower students to learn, build, and innovate with AI.
