Sales & Marketing Representative responsibilities :

The Sales & Marketing Representative is responsible for creating and maintaining contacts within the insurance community and outside sources. They will be responsible for following and adding to the marketing plan. All marketing will be planned to maximize achievement of the marketing goals.

Duties / Daily Responsibilities:
• Initiate marketing activities, calls, emails, online postings, face-to-face meetings, designed to prospect for new customers. Also will be responsible for seeking Investor/Sponsor for company time to time when & where required
• Determine the Investor/Sponsor’s needs; Provide lists of program list that meet those needs as well as financial resources; Act as an intermediary for negotiations between buyers and sellers
• Create documents such as powerpoint presentation ,representation contracts, sponsor agreements
• Encourage sales through open houses, advertising, networking, and participation in multiple listing services;

Weekly/Monthly Responsibilities:
• Prepare action plan for the next week
• Make any follow up phone calls and set up meetings for missed contacts
• Attend industry/networking/community events
• Monthly meeting to address current ongoing work, marketing goals and sales strategies.
Quarterly Responsibilities:
• Update route – remove uncooperative individuals and add new potential work sources
• Review mail lists for changes and updates to names and addresses
• Make sure that direct mail is being sent out as scheduled
Annual Responsibilities:
• Review return on marketing activities and make sure that all time spent is having a positive return.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
• Assist with setup and attend industry trade shows and other events
• Assist with promotion and setup, for training sessions.
• Make formal presentations to insurance companies, property managers, service providers and contingency managers.
