Celebrating Excellence in Competitive Programming: CodeSprint_V1.0 Hosted by MIU Programming Club (MPC) π
On August 3, 2026, Manarat International Universityβs Ashulia campus buzzed with algorithmic brilliance as the MIU Programming Club (MPC) successfully conducted CodeSprint_V1.0, an onsite solo programming contest designed to foster problem-solving skills and technical ingenuity among students.
The event commenced with empowering keynote addresses from key leaders across our department and faculty, including Dr. Md. Mijanur Rahman (Dept. Head & Dean of SEST), Md Zahurul Haque (Club Moderator), Mohammad Rafiqul Islam (Associate Professor), Tanvir Ahmed (Assistant Professor) and former MPC President MD. Dipu.

Out of a highly competitive field of talented coders, four standout individuals claimed top honors:

Prizes and certificates were awarded by esteemed faculty members of the CSE Department: Prof. Dr. Md Mijanur Rahman, Zahurul Haque, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Tanvir Ahmed, Jannatul Ferdaous, and Noor Easrib Tiba.
We were also grateful for the presence and support of former MPC executive committee members: Md. Dipu, Riadul Islam (Former Treasurer), and MD Mahedi Hasan (Former Office Secretary). To honor the hard work of every participant, certificates of recognition were distributed to all contestants.
Events like CodeSprint_V1.0 demonstrate the power of peer learning and mentorship in building a thriving tech community. Heartfelt thanks to the faculty, student organizers, and participants for bringing this initiative to life.

π£ MPC Handover Meeting 2026 π£
July 7th, 2026 marked a huge milestone for MPC as we held our official Club Handover Meeting! The session was presided over by our respected teachers, Assistant Professor MD. Zahurul Haque sir and Assistant Professor Tanvir Ahmed sir, whose guidance always keeps us moving forward. Our Former President, Md. Dipu, was there to represent the outgoing team and officially handed over all the club documentations to our Current President, MD. Rashid Shahrier.
The new committee was fully geared up and present, including General Secretary Junayed Rahman, Treasurer Ayesha Siddiqua Organizing Secretary Nazmus Shakib, and Executive Members Md. Tuhin Ahammed and Zawher Mustafa. It was a really productive meeting where our faculty members, previous president, and the current executive members shared some amazing insights, past experiences, and exciting future plans for the club and the university. A massive thank you to the previous committee for their hard work, and best of luck to the new team as they take MPC to the next level! πβ¨

π― MIU Intra University Programming Contest 2025 | Event Highlights π
MIU Intra University Programming Contest 2025 was successfully held at Lab 207, bringing together 10 enthusiastic teams who showcased their problem-solving skills and passion for competitive programming.
We were honored by the presence of our Main Guest, Prof. Mijanur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Head of the Department of CSE, and our Special Guest, Md. Ershadul H. Choudhury, Head of the Department of EEE.
Despite an unexpected electricity issue that shortened the contest to 1 hour and 25 minutes (from the planned 2 hours and 30 minutes), participants demonstrated exceptional focus, resilience, and technical excellence. πͺπ»
