Dr. Faisal is an expert in signal processing, time-frequency analysis, radar and biomedical signal processing, brain-computer interfacing, and AI/ML applications. He has published extensively in top-tier journals and conferences and received accolades such as the Best Male Student Paper Award at PCEMS 2023, VNIT, India.

At MIST, he serves as Officer-in-Charge of the DSP Lab, Course Coordinator, and Assistant Hall Provost, actively mentoring students in research and innovation. His guidance continues to inspire excellence in Signal Processing.
