🥊🕊️ REST IN PEACE, PRICHARD COLÓN — FOREVER A FIGHTER

The boxing world is mourning the loss of a true warrior. 🇵🇷🥀

Prichard Colón was once considered one of Puerto Rico’s brightest young boxing prospects. Undefeated at 16–0 with 13 knockouts, he stepped into the ring on October 17, 2015, believing he was fighting for another victory.

Instead, that night changed his life forever.

During his fight against Terrel Williams, Colón repeatedly complained about punches to the back of his head. Williams was later penalized for an illegal rabbit punch.

After nine rounds, Prichard returned to his dressing room feeling seriously unwell. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered bleeding in his brain and performed emergency surgery.

His career inside the ring was over.

But his greatest battle had just begun.

Prichard spent 221 days in a coma and endured the devastating effects of his brain injury for more than a decade. Through it all, his family remained by his side, fighting alongside him every step of the way.

On August 13, 2026, Prichard’s father announced that he had passed away at just 33 years old.

His story is more than a boxing story.

It is a reminder that behind every knockout, every victory and every battle inside the ring is a human life—and a future that can change in an instant.

Today, we remember the fighter.
We remember the son.
We remember the warrior.
