With the passage of time, the global, regional as well as national context have changed substantially. In view of the changed situation and the priority of the people, T**D has formulated its vision, mission, goal and objectives as follows. Vision: To contribute in making Bangladesh a free, fair and just society. Mission: Promotion of people’s participation for establishment of their rights related to socio-economic development and political freedom. Goal: Empowerment of people irrespective of s*x, caste and creed. Objectives:
• Partnering with community organizations, civil society organizations, local government bodies, national and international development partners to facilitate the participation of people in the process of development and political freedom.
• To build up the capacity of women for their empowerment leading to economic and socio-political development.
• To undertake projects and programs based on the needs of the people in the areas poverty alleviation, climate change, environment, women empowerment, child and youth development etc. Development Partners: Community organizations, civil society organizations, national and international development partners. Programmes of T**D: It may be divided into two major areas namely Field Operation Programme that include different programmes/projects implemented by T**D and Support Services comprised of training, review and evaluation, socio-economic studies, programme development and management consulting assistance provided to development partners.
