Raghu Rai was the definitive visual biographer of South Asia, and his career was a panoramic journey through the heights of human devotion and the depths of political upheaval. From the frontlines of the 1971 Liberation War to the aftermath of Bhopal, Rai’s work stripped away the politics to show the human face of history. His work was defined by a rare honesty of the eye, a refusal to look away from the truth, no matter how complex or painful.

​With his passing, the shutter closes on a life lived with immense purpose. We celebrate a man who taught us that while looking is easy, truly seeing is a gift.

The first volume of the Flyers Sports’ Padel Premier 2026 concluded at Bashundhara Sports City, marking a massive milestone for the sport in Bangladesh. After four days of high-intensity competition, the tournament has crowned its inaugural champions across three categories.
