Bangladesh has condemned the Israeli military's attack on Al-Tabeen school in Eastern Gaza on Saturday, which resulted in over a hundred civilian deaths and numerous injuries. The government described the assault as a severe violation of international law and human rights. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community and the United Nations to hold those responsible accountable and enforce a permanent ceasefire. Bangladesh expressed solidarity with Palestine and reiterated its support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
