World Heart day â 2024 : The goal of this day is to be aware of health specially heart. The heart functions a lot for our body. Not only food habit but also exercise, environmental and behavioral factors can influence on heart health.
About 17.9 million people died from heart diseases in 2019, represents 32% of all global deaths.
We eat everyday foods and drinks. Food habit is different to us and need to grow more healthy food. What we grow locally in our country need to follow better policy for food system. It can help us to live a good life.

DELICIOUS MEAL IDEAS â
Our daily meal planning is different from one another. Food influences everyone by its color, flavor, taste etc. But in our daily gossip we only say what food I love to eat, how much eat, why I donât buy that my friends are buying. This is absolutely hard to have same eating habits by all.
Eating a plate of chicken pasta can make your day! For more taste add sauce, cream etc are good. In doing your balance diet it is not good three times the pasta meal plan.
Letâs come to the point âĻ..
A . It is important to know how to cook healthy meal with meat, fish and vegetables
B . To clean all food items
C . Maintain boiling temperature
D . Eat according your appetite, taste, food portion size
E . Eat some food of dairy groups to add calcium, specially need for children as their growing time demands more vitamin and minerals
F . Keep in smooth track in your diet to get good result.

Clinical Dietician / Nutrition Consultant
Mahbuba Khatun is a Clinical Dietician / Nutrition Consultant, graduated in Food & Nutritional Sciences from University of Dhaka. I am working with the patients of nutritional problems with different types of disease like diabetes, obesity, heart disease etc and also deal with child and adolescence nutrition. I have a special focus on nutrition of pregnant and lactating women. During my post-graduation in Food & Nutritional Sciences I completed my research work which was involved with the nutritional status of women and infants which made me more interested in wellness of the women and children. Besides this I have done training and research on Nutrition, Medicinal Herb & Diet therapy.
