Ice9’s Research Assistant, Manash Kumar Mandal recently conducted a workshop on deep learning at KUET. The workshop focused on using Deep Learning algorithm in different applications and on the tools that are used in the process. We hope the young and aspiring students learnt a lot about this exciting area of machine learning!

We have finally received the trophy and the certificate for winning the ''Best of the Best Award'' at the "Red Dot Award 2015". The award was received by Afeef Zubaer Zaman on behalf of Ice9 last month at the gala event held in Berlin.

Ice9 Interactive is the first ever company from Bangladesh to win this award - an accolade won by the likes of Apple, Google, Samsung and BMW.

After winning Platinum at the A' Design Awards 2015, our generative design project 'Reflect' got shortlisted in the Design category at the recently concluded Cannes Lions.

Although we could not win any awards, it is still an incredibly big achievement to be shortlisted among big names like Dentsu Inc., Google Creative Lab, Airbnb, Coca Cola etc.

We are extremely proud to announce that Ice9 Interactive has won the ‘Platinum Award’ in the prestigious ‘A’ Design Award & Competition 2015’. A' Design Award & Competition is the World’s largest annual juried design competition that honours best designers, architects, and design oriented companies and institutions around the globe.

Ice9 Interactive won the ‘Platinum Award’ in the category of ‘Graphics and Visual Communication’ and the ‘Gold Award’ in the category of ‘Generative, Algorithmic and Parametric Design’.

The awards were rewarded for our ‘Generative Design’ project ‘Reflect’ for Lebanese musician DJ Sarhi’s album launch. The project was ideated by Mr. Shafiq Alam of IMPACT BBDO and executed by Afeef Zubaer Zaman & Fahim Ahmed of Ice9 Interactive.

Over 15,000 applications were submitted from 180 countries for the awards. Only 21 of them won the 'Platinum Award' and out of that only the top 9 ‘Platinum Winners’ including Ice9 Interactive were invited to receive the award in the gala ceremony held at Como, Italy.

We are honored to be the first company from Bangladesh to win this accolade. This year’s and previous winners of this award include - Nike, Disney, Yahoo, Sony, General Electric, Pepsico Design & Innovation, Apple Retail Store, MIT Media Lab (Hiroshi Ishi), Samsung, Vodafone, Purdue University, Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Autodesk etc.
